Drawings and selected photos

Showboard Sketch saves your drawings, titles, colours and selected background images on your device. It uses Apple’s CloudKit service to synchronize drawing data with your iCloud account. Drawing and image export run on your device; the app does not send your drawings to an external AI service.

The system photo picker lets you choose a photo to use in a drawing. Sharing uses the system share sheet: the exported image is sent to the destination you select.

Storage and deletion

Your drawings remain available until you delete them in the app. iCloud synchronization depends on your account, connectivity and Apple settings. Deleting the app does not necessarily remove iCloud copies or device backups; these are managed separately through Apple.

Usage data and earlier versions

Version 2.0 has no custom telemetry, advertising SDK or in-app feedback submission service. Apple may provide store and system diagnostics according to its services and your device settings.

Earlier versions were covered by a policy describing usage statistics and CloudKit feedback. Historical feedback and usage records remain in CloudKit until manually deleted. No general removal or automatic expiry of these historical records has been implemented. These records are separate from your drawings and are not removed by deleting the current app. Contact us with questions or requests concerning information you previously submitted.

Support

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request. Support emails are deleted annually. This routine does not automatically remove historical records held in other systems. Do not include private drawings or other sensitive information unless it is needed for your request.

Your choices and contact

You choose which photos to import, what to share and which drawings to delete. Manage iCloud and backups through Apple settings. You can contact [email protected] to ask about information you have provided to us or request access, correction or deletion where applicable. You may also contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
