Introduction
This Privacy Policy is provided by Lejonapa AB, the developer and owner of the Artemis Arrow app. This policy explains how we handle information when you use Artemis Arrow.
Artemis Arrow is designed with privacy-first principles. The app uses your device’s location and motion sensors to help calculate where celestial bodies appear in the sky. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data.
What Data We Collect
Personal Data
Artemis Arrow does not collect personal data from this app.
We do not collect your name, email address, account information, contacts, photos, drawings, messages, identifiers, analytics data, or advertising data.
Location Data
Artemis Arrow uses your location on your device to calculate the direction of celestial bodies such as the Moon, Sun, and planets.
Your location is used for app functionality only.
We do not store your location on our servers.
We do not have access to your location.
We do not use your location for advertising, analytics, tracking, or marketing.
Motion Sensor Data
Artemis Arrow uses device motion and compass information to keep the sky view aligned with the direction your iPhone is pointing.
This sensor data is processed on your device.
We do not collect, store, or transmit motion sensor data.
Weather Data
Artemis Arrow may use Apple WeatherKit to show simple weather-related visibility context, such as cloud conditions.
WeatherKit uses location information to provide weather forecasts according to Apple’s privacy practices.
We do not receive, store, or have access to your WeatherKit requests or weather-related location data.
App Usage, Analytics, and Crash Data
Artemis Arrow does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or custom crash reporting.
We do not collect app usage statistics, performance metrics, or crash reports ourselves.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store and system diagnostics if users have chosen to share analytics with Apple. This is governed by Apple’s privacy policies and device settings.
How We Use Data
Artemis Arrow uses data only on your device to provide app functionality:
- To calculate the apparent position of the Moon, Sun, and planets
- To show whether a celestial body is above or below the horizon
- To guide the direction in which to point your iPhone
- To show simple weather-based visibility context when available
We do not use data for tracking, advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing.

No Data Selling
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
No Advertising or Tracking
Artemis Arrow does not use advertising networks, tracking technologies, or third-party analytics SDKs.
